About the Presentation: Nearly 25 years after Congress granted China the coveted status of most-favored nation in trade, the economic landscape has shifted dramatically. Today, China’s economy, measured by GDP based on purchasing power parity (PPP), outpaces that of the United States by more than 20%. Armed with this economic clout, Beijing is intensifying its military expansion in the Western Pacific, a development that raises significant geopolitical concerns.

The lessons of the past loom large as policymakers and analysts grapple with how to avoid repeating the missteps that allowed China to reach this position of power.

In an upcoming presentation titled “The CCP’s Economic Warfare Against America,” experts will delve into the strategies Beijing employs to undermine U.S. interests. This presentation builds on prior discussions, China’s Global Expansion - Past and Future and The Legal Basis for the U.S. to Defend Taiwan, and aims to uncover the CCP’s playbook for economic dominance.

Among the revelations: how China systematically acquired U.S. technologies - often through covert means - while the U.S. remained largely unaware of the long term consequences. As Washington faces mounting challenges from Beijing, the presentation serves as both a warning and a call to action.
